Two more teams I recently built, while painting the Orc team.

Waagh! in progress - pt.1

Small update on the painting of the Blood Bowl Orc Team.

Not much to say, I'll be doing these guys 4 at the time being the full team of 16 players.

Green updates

Last few details before priming and painting-

I put a magnet on every base and made a ball out of green stuff and spare spikes.The ball is obviously also magnetized, so that the miniature holding it can take it around the pitch.

While I was at it, I drilled the hands of the throwers and of a lineorc, so that the ball could fit on their hands. 

 

 Then I based the whole team with sand. It's now primed black, ready for paint!

Some updates from the weekend.
I played a couple of matches on my new suitcase-pitch, one was a kind of intro-game for a curious guy that lasted only half time, with my orcs facing (my) his Dark Elves.
The other was a proper match against the Chaos Dwarf team of a friend, who's also working on his own suitcase-pitch, that's more awesome-looking than mine!

 Oh, and I also managed to complete the river part of the pitch.
I'll be pouring some resin soon, but at the moment it will look like it's under a drought period.









Also I got a few ideas about further details I might add to the pitch. Much fun!

I then proceeded with some updates on the Orc team:

 

I completed the Black Orc Blockers;

 I put some green stuff patches on the players;

 I made a little skirt for the thrower;

a plate for the number and a patch on the butt;

and, the last but not the least, I clad in metal the Troll. Shoulderpads and protections for joints.

Some minor updates on my Orc team.

I completed the 4 lineorcs.

And added some facial protection to the blitzers' helmets.

Then I obtained an helmet for the Troll.

Blood drops

 Just a minor update, with the last progresses on the BB team.

I tried a reddish colour, but it ended up too red:

So I went for a darker armor.
It looks better, but stil I'm not sold on it.

 

Helmet needs some more whiter blue highlight, and I'm on doubt about the white shoulderpad.

And that's the final version, pretty much.
Shoulder pad looks better close to the finished helmet.

Anyway, that's it for now!

Blood Bowl!

 I'll be having a Blood Bowl tournament next month, so I assembled a little team of Dark Elves for the event!
Their pieces are coming from spare parts of Dark Elves and Dark Eldar.

Happy with the result, I'll get these guys and gals painted very soon!

Number 01 to 06 from left to right, these are the linemen -or lineelves-. 

 Number 07 to 11, the blitzers and a witch elf.

 I'm planning to add a couple of throwers, maybe another witch and an assassin sometime in the future.

Also thinking about the painting scheme:
-Purple armor, white shoulder;
-Green armour, red shoulder;
-Red armour, white shoulder.
